My Writings

Here is a small collection of some of my writings that I have saved from over the past few years. Many are in the rough draft form, but a few are final copies. You are free to use these for your own research, and if you have any comments on any of them I would love to hear from you. More will be added as I format more old ones and write new ones!

The Hacker Paradigm - My senior project for a high school English course. The objective was to write a paper and do a presentation that shows an objective approach to a topic. I chose Hacking / Computer Security.

Open Source Software - Another paper I wrote with a technical focus, but this was for a college course. The topic is the benefits of open source software.

The Role Of The Sea In The Awakening - A paper I wrote for a college literature course that discusses the role of the sea in Kate Chopin's The Awakening.

Huck Finn as a Martyr - A paper similar in style to the one above, but this one takes a look at the role of religion in The Adventures of Huck Finn and how Huck can be seen as somewhat of a martyr.

Dare We Damn Ourselves? An Essay based on The Lottery by Shirley Jackson. - A look at how The Lottery compares to our present-day society.

Review of The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli - One of the most unique books I have ever read, I wrote this paper in response to it for a college Western Civilization course.

Tolerance and Acceptance as themes in To Kill A Mockingbird - A college level paper that discusses these two prevalent themes in one of the best novels ever written.

Walking Through The Dark Of Night - A simple free form poem I wrote

K-rockathon Concert Review - My reaction to / review of the 6th annual K-rockathon concert with bands such as Staind and Papa Roach.
